By accessing or using this website, purchasing products, downloading resources, or accessing files shared via Google Drive or third-party platforms, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use this website or purchase/download any products.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“User”, “Customer”, “Teacher”, “You”) and The Sci Educator (“Company”, “We”, “Us”).

2. WHO WE ARE

The Sci Educator provides digital educational resources designed to support science teaching and curriculum implementation.

Products may be sold:

  • Directly on this website
  • Through Teachers Pay Teachers (TPT)
  • Delivered via Google Drive

3. ELIGIBILITY

You must be at least 18 years old to use this site or purchase products.

By using this website, you confirm you are legally able to enter into a binding contract.

4. ACCEPTABLE USE OF THE WEBSITE

6. EDUCATIONAL RESOURCE LICENSE (VERY IMPORTANT)

When purchasing a resource, you are buying a license to use, not ownership.

Single Teacher License

Each purchase grants:
✔ Use by ONE teacher
✔ Use in ONE classroom
✔ Use with that teacher’s students

You may:

  • Print copies for your students
  • Use digitally with your own class
  • Use in your personal classroom LMS

You may NOT:

  • Share with other teachers
  • Share with your department or team
  • Upload to shared school drives
  • Upload to district cloud storage
  • Post to public or private websites
  • Email files to colleagues
  • Place files on shared drives (Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive, etc.)
  • Use for school-wide or district-wide training

School or District Licenses

Schools or districts must purchase additional licenses for:

  • Multiple teachers
  • Department sharing
  • School-wide use
  • District-wide use

Unauthorized sharing is a violation of copyright law.

7. OPENSCIED COPYRIGHT COMPLIANCE

The Sci Educator is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by OpenSciEd.

Our resources are:

  • Independently created
  • Original materials
  • Designed to support implementation of the curriculum

We do not:

  • Sell official OpenSciEd materials
  • Redistribute OpenSciEd curriculum content
  • Claim ownership of OpenSciEd intellectual property

“Designed to support OpenSciEd implementation” is used descriptively only.

All OpenSciEd trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.

8. DIGITAL PRODUCT DELIVERY (GOOGLE DRIVE)

Many products are delivered via Google Drive.

By purchasing, you agree that:

  • You may be required to request access via your Google account
  • Access is granted to the purchasing email only
  • Files are shared privately
  • Sharing permissions are restricted

You must NOT:

  • Share access links
  • Request access for colleagues
  • Change file permissions
  • Upload files to shared drives

Violation may result in revoked access without refund.

9. THIRD-PARTY PLATFORM: TEACHERS PAY TEACHERS (TPT)

Some products link to or are sold through Teachers Pay Teachers (TPT).

When purchasing through TPT:

  • TPT’s Terms of Service also apply
  • Payment processing is handled by TPT
  • Downloads are managed by TPT

We are not responsible for:

  • TPT platform outages
  • TPT account issues
  • TPT payment processing

10. PAYMENTS & PRICING

We reserve the right to:

  • Change prices at any time
  • Offer promotions or discounts
  • Modify product availability

All payments are processed securely via third-party payment providers.

11. REFUND POLICY

Due to the digital nature of our products:

ALL SALES ARE FINAL.

Refunds are not provided once files have been accessed or downloaded.

Exceptions may be made for:

  • Duplicate purchases
